Slack is a new way of managing teams, with the millennial touch. It eliminates the need to search for email threads. Slack has revitalized how you communicate with your team. With Slack, you can have 1:1 conversations or group conversations. However, the cool feature about this is that all conversations can be organized be topics. For example, this is a functional product app to have if the CEO of the company wants to interact with the Marketing team and Finance Team separately, but the Marketing and Finance team do not need to interact. Slack is essentially organized conversations, eliminated from the ever=lasting email threads of 1-word responses. Not to mention Slack allows you to add documents to the conversations and integrates Dropbox, Google Drive, and MailChimp. - Focus Now
Focus now helps you to put your phone down and get work done! So many of us need this as there are so many times we sit down to work and end up scrolling through the ‘gram and before we now it 2 hours have passed and nothing we intended to do is done. Focus now is geared towards helping to increase work productivity. How does this productivity app do this? Well, you set a time for however long you want to work. During that time your phone screened is blocked off and you will start to grow a virtual farm, from seed to fruit. While this may sound a bit childish, it is really a psychology thing that will test if you have the ability to avoid your phone and work. This productivity app is great to help you limit your distractions and get work done.
- 17 Hats
17 Hats is the secret backbone of many entrepreneurs business. It allows you to use automated workflows, manage your accounting, lead captures, manage client project and store their files. The workflows are my favorite of all time. Imagine from the time a client is sent a quote upon until when you meet with the client never having to do anything in between that. Essentially, because of the workflow you created, your client is sent a quote and once they approve it, they are sent an invoice and once they pay, they are sent questions and links to schedule. All of that is automated and you never have to do anything! A great feature of this productivity app is that it is customizable to match your brand colors. If you are in a service-based business, this is a great productivity app to increase value to your client experience.
